Rubi Aviziz - Dreams

Due to popular demand, pianist and composer Roby Aviziz returns to the stage with a new concert. Following his debut concert “Bereshit,” which sold out completely and led to a series of performances in Israel’s leading concert halls, Roby Aviziz launches “Chalomot” (Dreams) – a musical journey between reality and imagination.

Aviziz, the resident pianist at the National Theatre “Habima” for the past four years, is one of the few young creators who both compose their works and perform them themselves on concert stages. At just 24 years old, he continues to establish a personal musical voice that blends classical tradition with original contemporary creation. In “Chalomot,” the work converges into the most personal space. New original compositions by Aviziz meet masterpieces from all eras in original, romantic, and virtuosic arrangements, creating a musical journey that moves between reality and imagination, nostalgia and longing, and memory and mystery.

“Bereshit” marked the birth of a new musical language and reached its peak with a large-scale production that included a choir of 60 singers, a ballerina, tango dancers, and guest artists. In “Chalomot,” every sound, every piece, and every story aims to take the audience to a place where they can close their eyes, listen, and dream. With each new performance, Roby Aviziz succeeds in connecting the virtuosity of the pianist with the world of the composer, creating a personal, moving, and accessible musical experience for a broad audience.
