The Regional Library opens its doors to a unique Selichot and piyyutim performance by the international singer, creator, and paytנית Morin Nehedar.
In the performance, Morin combines traditional Selichot piyyutim and songs from all of Israel’s communities, using ethnic and Western instruments to create a bridge between East and West and between the ancient and the contemporary.
Morin Nehedar is one of the leading figures in the world of Jewish music renewal. She is the recipient of the 2023 Uri Orbach Prize for Jewish Culture in the field of music, and the 2019 Neve Schechter and Rabinovich Foundation Prize for Original Israeli Creation.
