A workshop on designing with houseplants, held over three sessions under the guidance of Rinat Tal from 'Sokolina'. The workshop focuses on selecting plants, tools, and materials for designing indoor spaces in combination with existing decor.
The summer is in full swing, and we spend much more time at home. So let's design and prepare our home accordingly, and in green! If you've attempted to grow plants and it hasn't been successful, or if you want to deepen your cultivation skills - come learn once and for all how to choose the right plants and how to properly care for them!
Rinat Tal from 'Sokolina' is a space designer with plants and teaches the field, and this time she returns to us for another cycle in the fascinating course - Designing with Houseplants!
In the three sessions of the course, we will learn to understand the space we have, choose the suitable plants for the appropriate locations, select suitable containers and materials that wrap the plants, and integrate everything harmoniously with the existing design. We will learn once and for all how to know in any situation when and how much to water, discover "hacks" that will make plant care much simpler, understand how to identify what "ails" the plant when it doesn’t look happy, and how to help it, and of course - how to propagate them indefinitely.
This is a practical course! You’ll get hands-on experience with the plants and materials, and after each session, you'll go home with plants, cuttings, and plant tools we create in the course. The course will also cover light, considerations in location selection, design and aesthetics, plant tools, planting materials, watering and maintenance, self-watering methods, diagnosing and treating problems, plant propagation, and plant rehabilitation.
The three sessions will take place on Thursdays, starting on September 10, 2026, from 18:00 to 20:30. Workshop price: 750 NIS. Workshop price for Tel Aviv-Jaffa residents: 637 NIS.
