Imagine the songs of the legendary album getting a refreshing and energetic jazz twist, with a brilliant international ensemble led by the saxophone virtuoso, Cătălin Milea from Romania. Expect surprises!

"Let It Be" is the 12th and final studio album by The Beatles, released about a month after the band's breakup in May 1970, alongside a documentary film of the same name. Despite being released last, most of the songs were actually recorded before the "Abbey Road" album sessions, with some recorded directly during The Beatles' famous rooftop concert atop the Apple Corps building in London on January 30, 1969 – their last joint performance. Paul McCartney's original idea was to return to the band's simple and raw rock and roll roots, without complex studio productions. However, with the arrival of legendary producer Phil Spector, string and choir arrangements were added to the recordings, creating significant disputes between McCartney and the band members. In 2003, the album "Let It Be... Naked" was released, an alternative version stripping away all of Phil Spector's production additions, presenting the songs as the band originally intended. Some tracks from the album include: "Across the Universe," "Get Back," "The Long and Winding Road," "I Me Mine," "Maggie Mae," and of course, "Let It Be."

Romanian saxophonist Catalin Milea is one of the most creative in the Eastern European scene and is at the forefront of the modern Transylvanian scene. With five previous albums to his name and a rich variety of original works in a rapidly changing world, Catalin Milea's music and playing reflect our times, full of dynamic and captivating energy, emphasizing quickly moving structures that showcase his high capabilities as a composer, arranger, and performer. His deep sound, musical taste, and sense of swing remind one of great tenor saxophonists like Joshua Redman or Joe Lovano. His music presents a new style, combining acoustic jazz with electronic music, tradition, and innovation simultaneously, without limitations. With his unique sound, Catalin Milea is considered one of the most creative musicians in Romanian jazz. He has refined his skills over more than 25 years of experience and refinement, manifested today in his concerts and albums, through methods and books dedicated to those who want to experience unforgettable moments through music.

He began his studies at the National University of Music in Bucharest and continued them in the Netherlands (Prince Claus Conservatoire, Amsterdam, and The Royal Conservatoire, The Hague) and the USA (Long Island University – Brooklyn, New York). Between 2008-2010, he was awarded the Huygens Beurs scholarship from the Dutch government and the Makarov Foundation scholarship. He is the founder of the first Romanian jazz magazine "Jaz Compas" and is also involved in pedagogical activities, such as workshops and masterclasses at the National University of Music (U.N.M.B.), National Music Colleges George Enescu and Dinu Lipatti in Bucharest, Amsterdam (Netherlands), Javeriana University, and Sergio Arboleda University (Bogotá, Colombia). He has performed and recorded with Stefano di Battista, Will Winson, Nasheet Waits, Anthony Pinciotti, Dick Oatts, Sam Newsome, recorded/performed with the European Youth Big-Band, European Contemporary Orchestra (ECO), and the Romanian National Radio Big Band.
