The perfect songs on The Beatles' "Revolver" are a source of inspiration for the exceptional Finnish trombonist, Kasperi Sarikoski, who will lead an ultimate band ensemble, along with Australian singer Alma Zygier in a tribute to the groundbreaking band of all time.

"Revolver" is The Beatles' seventh studio album, released in 1966, and is considered by many critics as one of the most revolutionary and important albums in music history. The album marks the turning point where the band transitioned from a touring pop ensemble to an experimental studio group, incorporating psychedelia, classical music, Indian influences, and innovative recording technologies. The album cover combines line drawing in a pop-art style with a collage of the band members' photos and won a Grammy Award.

In this album, The Beatles and producer George Martin used pioneering studio techniques that transformed musical production: tape loops and reverse recording, using reversed sounds, like the backward guitar solo in "I'm Only Sleeping." George Harrison incorporated traditional Indian instruments like the sitar, tabla, and tambour in "Love You To," significantly boosting the "world music" genre. Sound effects such as automatic vocal doubling, recording speed changes, and using a unique speaker to create a psychedelic effect on John Lennon's voice were also featured.

The album's track list includes, among others, "Eleanor Rigby," "Love You To," "Here, There and Everywhere," "Yellow Submarine," "She Said She Said," "Good Day Sunshine," "Got to Get You into My Life," "Tomorrow Never Knows," and more.

Kasperi Sarikoski, born in 1988 in Finland, is regarded as a leading figure among the new generation of jazz musicians in Finland and Europe. As a teenager, he studied at the Pop & Jazz Conservatory, and at 12 years old, he was chosen to play in the Finnish All Star Junior Big Band. Kasperi holds a bachelor's degree from the prestigious Sibelius Academy in Helsinki and continued his studies at the Paris Conservatory and the Juilliard School in New York for his master's degree in music. He has performed and recorded with jazz legends such as saxophonists Jerry Bergonzi and Dave Liebman, as well as drummer Peter Erskine. During his two-year stay in the U.S., he played with the Jazz At Lincoln Center Orchestra, led by the legendary trumpeter Wynton Marsalis. He is the lead trombonist for the prestigious UMO Jazz Orchestra, which has performed with jazz giants like Joshua Redman, Gregory Porter, Michel Legrand, Hermeto Pascoal, and more. Since 2016, he has led his quintet, performing at renowned festivals such as the Pori Jazz Festival and Turku Jazz Festival across Europe and Finland. Kasperi frequently performs in classical settings and is a talented singer, having studied singing professionally for several years.
