The tradition of jazz performances returns to the Jaffa Port with a series of lively and energetic live music shows featuring the best Israeli jazz musicians. The performances will take place in a stunning location at the heart of the port's historic marina during sunset. Each evening offers a different encounter between tradition and contemporary styles, intertwined with rhythm and melody to create an open, joyful, and colorful experience along the waterfront.

The first four evenings range between the sounds of the Mediterranean, North Africa, and the Maghreb, encounters of tradition, identity, and roots through a contemporary prism; while the next four evenings are dedicated to a vibrant Latin celebration, with salsa, samba, and choro, rhythm, color, and joie de vivre filling the waterfront.
Each evening presents a different encounter between tradition and contemporary, between rhythm and melody, converging into one open, joyful, and colorful experience by the water.

The music, composed, produced, and arranged by Shetrit, moves between Andalusian, Moroccan, and Israeli sounds, blending with a groove and modern jazz approach.

June 16 | 19:30 | Abate Berihun and the Addis Ken Project - Addis Ababa Meets Jewish Soul
Album launch performance! "Addis Ken" አዲስ ቀን ("New Day") is a groovy and soulful project by saxophonist and vocalist Abate Berihun, one of the prominent and unique voices in contemporary Israeli music. Along with pianist Roy Mor, they lead a group that merges ancient Ethiopian traditions with the language of modern jazz.

Their music combines modern jazz, classical Arabic music, and progressive rock, into a contemporary, rich, and multicultural sound.

After a decade as a soloist with the Jerusalem East and West Orchestra and collaborations with leading artists, she brings a living, breathing musical language between tradition and contemporary.
