**Our Theater Presents: The Disguised Egg**
A new musical and theatrical adaptation of the story "The Disguised Egg." It tells the story of an egg that is dissatisfied with itself, unsure of who it is and what its role in the world is. Throughout the play, it turns, hesitates, rolls, and disguises itself until eventually it returns to its mother hen, who provides the warmth and love it sought. From the egg hatches a chick. During the play, the egg encounters various characters and experiments with disguises to find its identity. It transitions from character to character and, after many attempts, failures, and insults, it returns to the familiar and correct, developing there.
The moral of the play is to equip the audience with the tools to believe in themselves and the possibility of growth within their current situation, encouraging them not to give up and to believe that everyone eventually finds their purpose and place in life.
