Lior Uziel was born in Israel in 1992. He began his musical education in Ashdod as a piano student. At the age of 15, he decided to switch to the harp and started studying with harpist Irina Kaganovsky. At age 16, he joined the harp class of Mariana Schwartzbert, who guided his studies at the Israeli Conservatory of Music in Tel Aviv and later at the Academy of Music and Dance.

Lior has won several awards and scholarships: scholarships from the America Israel Cultural Foundation, the Academy President's Award, the first prize in a chamber music competition, and the first prize in Israel's first harp competition in 2011. Additionally, he performed as a soloist with the Haifa New Symphony Orchestra and in numerous chamber concerts and broadcast events. Lior also served in the IDF under the status of "Outstanding Musician." In addition to his studies, Lior participated in master classes with leading harpists including Mariel Nordman, Susanna Klincharova, and Sivan Magen.
