"The Secret Hideaway" is a theatrical one-person show, funny and moving, combining imagination, humor, and a lot of children's participation.
Yael is angry. Very angry.
One day, her parents inform her that her little brother, Yoel, is going to move into her room. Yael refuses to hear about it. In her view, Yoel is nothing but a nuisance, a bother, who takes all the attention.
Along with Gum - her beloved and funny hand puppet - she decides to escape and find a secret hideaway just for them.
During their journey, they discover a magical and wonderful box that can turn Yael into anything she wants to be: a funny clown, a brave pirate, a beloved princess, or even a mysterious witch. Through adventures and games, Yael discovers something important about herself, her family, and the special bond between her and her little brother.
This play addresses the emotional world of siblings, dealing with jealousy, friendship, imagination, and love in a gentle, funny, and enchanting way.
