Hand-stitching and bookbinding workshop with Layan Al-Sayyed. During the workshop, we will explore the structure of the book, sewing materials, and traditional techniques. The workshop includes training in using tools and creating notebooks or sketchbooks with Coptic stitching, perfect for writing and creativity.
**The workshop is held in Arabic**
In this workshop, we will learn how to create a handmade book, starting from understanding the structure of the book and its materials, to traditional sewing and binding techniques. We will learn the basics of bookbinding, practice using the tools, and then create a personal notebook or sketchbook with a Coptic binding that opens flat, making it ideal for writing, drawing, and creativity.
