A performative confession show about politics in collaboration with the audience. A creation that evolves live through a sequence of autobiographical texts from the way thoughts are born. The performers and the audience speak in confessions only, with no questions or responses.
"לא מכניסה את זה הביתה" is a performative event where both performers and the audience are allowed to speak only in confessions - without responses, questions, conversations, or vocal judgments. It is a creation that evolves live through a series of autobiographical texts arising from the depths of shame, fear, and guilt.
Three performers with different political views will take the center stage and confess what is on their hearts, revealing the complexity of their opinions and everything they feel they cannot say publicly. They will be surrounded by an audience from across the political spectrum - right, left, center, and even those who do not define themselves politically. Everyone enters the same room and shares personal confessions throughout an entire evening. Without responding, without persuading, and without arguing.
A good opportunity to listen.
In times of particularly complex political reality, the performance seeks to address the place from which thoughts are born: the fears, hopes, memories, anger, contradictions, and experiences that shape how we view the country and those living in it. It does not seek to persuade anyone, but rather to provoke curiosity, to leave people with new questions, with thoughts that were not there before, and with the possibility to momentarily see a person before seeing their stance.
For us, young men and women living in a politically polarized society, this is a rare opportunity for an encounter not based on winning an argument but on the potential to broaden perspectives. The show is just the starting point.
