We will learn to repair a broken ceramic item using the traditional Japanese method, highlighting its flaws with gold. The course includes 5 sessions and is led by Chen Magal, a Kintsugi artist. Participation is for ages 18 and over, and all equipment will be provided to the students.

Five sessions, Mondays, from 18:00 to 20:30.
Dates: August 17, 24, 31; September 7, 14.
Course price: 1,500 ILS. For Tel Aviv-Jaffa residents: 1,400 ILS.
Early registration: 1,300 ILS for everyone until August 3. Registration via the secretary's office.
Throughout the five sessions, we will learn about the history of the method, psychological value, sustainability, the world of WABI SABI, and discover the beauty and value in simplicity and the signs of fracture and time in our environment through the tool we will repair.
Kintsugi course led by Hen Magal, a Kintsugi and Japanese lacquer artist.
Equipment and materials from Japan, as well as tools for repair, will be provided to students during the course.

She discovered the field of Kintsugi a few years ago entirely by accident, and from there everything changed for her.
Today Hen is engaged in teaching Kintsugi, various Japanese restoration methods, lacquer works, and other Japanese arts (rankaku, kanshitsu-fun, Fuki Urushi, and more). Hen repairs, restores, teaches, and creates tools per request for private clients as well as designers. For me, the process provides mental peace, flow, and a deep understanding of patience and humility.

Cancellation policy: Transactions can be canceled 14 days before the activity starts (excluding rest days). Refunds will be processed with a deduction of 5% or 100 ILS, whichever is lower. After that, cancellations are not allowed at any stage.
