If I Were a Pirate - Jaffa Tavern at Jaffa Port
A tribute event to the Whistling Gypsy Club featuring Hanan Yuval, Tomer Krive, and Yeshiv Cohen, as part of the 'This Recently' music event series. A cultural performance inspired by the stories and music of Jaffa on the main deck facing the sea. Participants from various fields of art will present works that express Jaffa from different perspectives.

Tomer Kriv and Yeshib Cohen, the duo leading the music event series "Ze Me’kabar," in a special event for the "Jaffa Tavern" series at Jaffa Port. Along with the ensemble "Eretz Ir" (Maya Johana, Gili Meir, and Yoav Rosenthal), they will take us back to the wooden inn from the 70s and the legendary Channel 1 show hosted by the immortal Dan Almagor.

**"Jaffa Tavern"**
A series of cultural performances by the sea, inspired by the stories, people, and music of Jaffa. On the main dock, against the backdrop of anchored boats, sunset, and in a pleasant summer breeze atmosphere, poets, musicians, actors, and writers will welcome mythical figures, sea songs, tavern stories, and texts born out of longing, wanderings, and love for the place.
Each performance presents a different angle of Jaffa - a city of fishermen, sailors, poets, and musicians, bridging local tradition with contemporary Israeli creation.
