A professional and in-depth summer course for students in grades 9-12 who are interested in developing skills in musical theater. The course includes intensive work in singing, acting, and movement, including song delivery lessons, ensemble singing, and choreography classes. Additionally, there will be a masterclass meeting with an industry artist.
The summer course is designed for those who wish to develop their skills in the world of musical theater at the highest level. During the course, participants will be exposed to intensive and multidisciplinary work that includes developing tools in singing, acting, and movement: song submission classes and solo song work, ensemble singing from a musical theater repertoire, dedicated acting lessons, and choreography classes. Additionally, the course will include a unique masterclass meeting with an active artist from the industry, offering a glimpse into professional work and a deeper dive into the creative process.

Masterclass with Rafael Abbas
Rafael Abbas is a respected actor and singer, a graduate of the Kibbutzim College, currently active in Israeli theater and performing in leading productions at the Cameri Theater. His notable roles include participation in musicals such as The Chabadniks, Dear Evan Hansen, and Waitress, alongside a wide variety of theater, television, and original musical theater roles.
Abbas won the Cameri Promising Actor Award and other awards for his work in children's and youth theater and is considered one of the prominent and intriguing voices of the young generation of actors in Israel. In the masterclass, he will share his professional experience in the world of musical theater and offer a glimpse into the work on major stages in the country.
Ensemble Singing Lessons - with Guy Parti
Guy Parti is a composer, pianist, orchestrator, and musical director. His works include Dear Evan Hansen, Waitress (Cameri Theater), and Funny Girl (Tomix). In 2023, he released a musical in collaboration with Shahar Shamai called 'Sonia' with Miki Kam and the Revolution Orchestra at the Haifa Theater.
He currently teaches and leads the new musical theater track at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance. He has taught at prestigious music and theater institutions in Israel, including Beit Zvi, Rimon, and in Idan Liper's musical theater program as a vocal coach, repertoire guide, and music director.
Graduate of the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance and the Royal Academy of Music in London.
Song Submission Lessons - with Doris Nemani and Rina Reim
Rina Reim is the manager of the musical theater track at Bichuray Ha'itim. An actress, singer, translator, and teacher of theater and musical theater.
She studied at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance and the Tel Aviv Theater and Musical Theater program. A graduate and soloist of the Moran Choir, she has performed around the country and the world, a graduate of the Chubbuck technique under the guidance of Alon Neuman, and has been an assistant teacher in this course for many years.
Among the theater productions she has participated in are The Most Dov There Is, Waitress, A Rat's Laugh (Cameri), Saturday on the Roof, and more.
Before establishing the track at Bichuray Ha'itim, Rina taught and directed in the ensemble of Tzitz's Neighbors and taught acting and vocal development privately.
Doris Nemani is a singer and creating actress. Stage experience includes The Little Mermaid, Shrek, Beauty and the Beast, Peter Pan, My Fair Lady, Evita, Legally Blonde, Piaf, the musical ensemble Voca People, and many more.
In the past five years, she has been guiding ensembles and groups in acting and voice development at various ages at Bichuray Ha'itim, Arik Einstein Community Center, and 'Hashlucha' Community Center in Gan HaTikva. Additionally, she leads workshops integrating special needs individuals and is responsible for the music trends at Tsuki Aviv School.
Graduate of Beit Zvi and Kibbutzim College.
Acting Lessons - with Shir Avrahamov
Shir Avrahamov is an actress, playwright, and theater teacher.
Shir has acted in numerous plays at the Habima Theater, Beit Lessin, Mediatech, and Kibbutz Theater. She appeared in series such as "Neighborhood", "Forever", "Infinity", "Main Cashier", "Miller Junction", "The Embassy", "In Fire and Water" (Netflix), and more.
Shir has extensive experience guiding acting workshops for all ages.
Graduate of the theater department at Thelma Yellin, a graduate of the acting track at the College of Performing Arts Seminar, and holds a bachelor's degree in directing and theater education at Kibbutzim College.
Choreography Lessons - with Amit Ziton
Amit Ziton is an actress at the National Theater - Habima. Among the productions she acted in are Chicago, Mamma Mia, Legally Blonde, The Spanish Garden, Signs, Casablanca.
On television, she has appeared in "Alumim" (Kan 11, Netflix) and "Fireflies" (HOT).
Dance teacher of musical theater at "Beit Zvi".
