Special meeting between three guitarists: Ron Magril, Ofer Ganor, and Uzi Ramirez, who lead a project dedicated to the music of Wes Montgomery and Grant Green. Montgomery is considered one of the most important guitarists in jazz history, with a unique playing style based on octaves, melodic phrasing, and a rare combination of sophistication and simplicity. Green was one of the most recognizable voices of the Blue Note label in the 1960s, developing a warm, bluesy, and groovy guitar sound that continues to influence to this day. The three guitars meet with a rhythm section of organ and drums, creating a warm, breathing, and bluesy sound that honors the original but brings it with a contemporary and lively interpretation. This is a meeting of tradition, virtuosity, and a love for the guitar. The performance debuted as part of the Tel Aviv Jazz Festival last November and now returns for a one-time evening at Shablul.
