The Yehudiya Nature Reserve offers a special nighttime experience during meteor nights, including astronomical guidance and activities for children. The night campground is open to enhance the experience.
The largest nature reserve in the Golan, offering breathtaking water trails and views during the day, opens its doors to an extraordinary nighttime experience. When darkness falls, the reserve takes on an entirely different magic, especially during meteor shower nights.
Come experience an exciting night of meteors, look up at the Perseids and the Milky Way, and immerse yourself in the celestial spectacle with a fascinating guide led by an astronomy expert. On the ground, children are invited to create their stars and enjoy a captivating introduction to the exciting Golan nature.
To complete the experience, it is recommended to stay overnight at the reserve's campground so that you wake up directly to the refreshing water trails of the Zavitan and Yehudiya streams.
When: Wednesday, 12th of August. The campground will open at 5:30 PM. The star-related activities and guided tours will begin after 8:00 PM.
*You can come for camping or just the star activities, in both cases, the fee is for the night campground.
