The impeccable harmony of Italian Baroque by Antonio Vivaldi, the sensuality of Argentine tango by Astor Piazzolla, and the passion of Israeli musicians come together on the stage of the ancient Armenian Monastery in Jaffa.
On the open terrace above the Mediterranean Sea, the program "The Four Seasons" will be performed by Lumina Trio. Unique arrangements for violin, cello, and piano will allow audiences to hear the famous works in a new way—emotionally and remarkably modern.
Two eras, two musical worlds, one stage. The fiery rhythms of Piazzolla will intertwine with the lightness and transparency of Vivaldi. Instead of the familiar academic halls, there will be a sunset over the sea, the flickering of hundreds of candles, and the ancient monastery walls that hold the atmosphere of centuries. Vivaldi's "The Four Seasons" are filled with light and motion: spring streams, summer thunderstorms, golden autumn, and winter silence. Almost three centuries later, Piazzolla created his own "Four Seasons"—passionate, temperamental, and urban. Instead of rural landscapes, there are the streets of Buenos Aires; instead of pastoral serenity, there is the energy of the big city, nostalgia, and tango.
Come to witness the sunset over the Mediterranean Sea to the sounds of two great musical masterpieces. On the roof of the ancient monastery in Jaffa, they will sound especially beautiful.

Please note: The concert takes place in an open area on the grounds of the ancient monastery by the sea. It may get cool in the evenings by the sea, so we recommend bringing a light wrap or something warm in case the weather turns chilly.
Please also note that there are no bars or cafes on the monastery grounds.
Entrance to the monastery is via the Jaffa promenade, not through the Old City.
