The workshop was developed and tailor-made especially for parents and their infants or toddlers in different age groups. It offers all participants an introduction and acquisition of basic musical skills with added value. The workshop contributes to the development of children's musical hearing, rhythm comprehension, and strengthens the emotional connection and shared enjoyment between the parent and the infant or toddler through music.

Additionally: experience and work with musical compositions in a wide range of different styles, acquaintance with musical instruments and changing accessories, empowering children through learning imitation in playing and movement, encouraging and strengthening active listening, developing and strengthening coordination using the instruments, accessories, and movement. The workshop aims to make music that is not available at home and songs in different, complex modes accessible to develop hearing. The songs in the workshop are carefully selected, built on aesthetics and complexity. Emphasis on practice, breathing, coordination, and accuracy to achieve the complete singing of several pieces.

About Keren Elantan: Facilitator of music and movement activities and workshops for 17 years in various frameworks for parents and toddlers from birth to age 5 using the Cheml method and different methodologies. She is a singer, guitarist, keyboard player, music teacher in kindergartens in Tel Aviv and the surrounding area, certified in the Gordon method.

Please note, you cannot attend with younger or older siblings. The ticket is valid for both sessions; it is not possible to purchase a ticket for a single session.

The workshop will be held over two meetings on Mondays, 10.8 and 17.8.
