"Friends Sing Yishay Levi" is a festive and moving televised evening dedicated to the residents of the north, people who chose to continue to return home, build, and believe in the future. We will tell their story through the soundtrack of one of the beloved and touching voices in Israeli music - Yishay Levi, who passed away a month ago. For decades, his songs have accompanied moments of love and longing, downfall and revival, pain and hope, becoming an integral part of the Israeli narrative.
Among the artists: Ben Tzur, Shlomi Shabat, The Revivo Project, Amir Benayoun, Dikla, Bar Tzabari, Arkadi Duchin, Mosh Ben Ari, Rami Kleinstein, Ze’ev Nehama, and Yishay's sons - Osher and Yarin Levi.
The show will take place at the Shlomo Culture and Performing Arts Hall in Ma'alot-Tarshiha, especially for the residents. Entrance is conditional upon pre-registration and the presentation of an ID card at the entrance.
During the show, we will celebrate Yishay Levi's career and his songs and hits over the years. The performance will be filmed for Keshet 12 and broadcast during the holidays.
