It begins with the paradox of the word "love," which in tennis means zero but also dedication, and turns it into a physical language of endurance, rivalry, tenderness, and care. Two performers meet as rivals and partners simultaneously, moving between rules and breaking them, between play and survival. The court becomes a changing field where gestures of competition echo conflict strategies and simple exchanges accumulate to the understanding that they need each other to continue playing. Love-Love asks what remains when victory loses its meaning.

What does it mean to have everything? What is everything? What does it mean to have nothing? What is nothing? And if I don't have everything, does it mean I have nothing? And if I have nothing, isn't it enough that I at least have something?

The creation was supported by the ImPulsTanz Festival in Vienna, Divadlo Dance Theatre in Slovakia, and the Choreographers Association in Israel.
Lior Lazarof is a choreographer, dancer, and dance teacher, and the artistic director of The People Dance Theater Company. She creates works for the stage and public spaces, dealing with the relationships between body, community, and space, and combines movement research with social and spatial contexts. Lior has participated in artist residency programs and international research and creation frameworks. Her works have been presented in Israel and worldwide, including at the Curtain Up Project, Jaffa to Agrippas Festival, Haifa Museum, ImPulsTanz Festival in Vienna, Springboard Danse Festival in Montreal, Lucky Trimmer Festival in Berlin, and more.
Alongside her creations, she developed the Ensemble, a pre-professional program for dancers combining training, research, and creation, and she guides dance groups and creative processes in professional and community settings.
