**Winter Funerals – A Sad Comedy by Hanoch Levin**

One of the most witty and acerbic comedies by Hanoch Levin, accompanied by timeless love songs. Lachek's mother has passed away. He plans to inform the relatives and arrange a proper funeral. However, they are busy preparing for the wedding of their youngest daughter, Volutia, which is scheduled for the following evening. It is clear to both parties: the wedding and the funeral cannot take place simultaneously. But how can one "throw away four hundred guests and eight hundred chickens," ordered for the celebration, just for a funeral? This marks the beginning of a madcap, hilarious, and twist-filled chase: the family does everything possible to evade the news of the death, which a desperate Lachek tries to communicate.
